One Common Characteristic of All Great Entreprenuers

No idea works unless you do the work. People say ideas are power. Ideas are not power. Information is not power. Ideation without execution is nothing more than delusion. If you look at a victim, they say, “Oh, I get the idea.” But they don’t
execute on the idea. They say, “Oh, why? Okay, I understand what I need to do.” But their mediocrity is because they’re not masters of implementation. Every world-
class performer I’ve ever mentored has a bias towards action. You say, “Here’s an idea.” Half an hour later, they send you a message, “Okay, I just worked up a mind map. I just did a plan. Here’s what the next 30 days are going to look like.” Every world-class CEO I’ve worked with, I say, “Here’s a book to read. Here’s an audio book to listen to.
Here’s an interview to watch online.” Probably the next day, “Watched it, did it. Here’s my decode, here’s what I learned.” Great entrepreneurs, for example, monomaniacal at executing around ideas. So no idea works unless you do the work.
