The #1 Method to Beat Your Fears in 2023

You have great bravery within you. Maybe you’ve disconnected with that inner hero through the trials of life or the difficulties or the negativity that’s in our world right now, or the incredible volatility and disruption. But bravery, now you were born with a great hero within you. Albert Camus says it so well, he said, “In the middle of a winter, I discovered within me an invincible summer.” And the more you do the work, the more you say, “You know what? This could be a little uncomfortable, but I’m going to do it.” Every time you do something that you’ve been resisting, every time you lean towards the uncomfortable, every time you vote for yourself and say, “I can do this,” even though you don’t feel like doing this. You build your willpower, you grow your bravery. You take your power back from the thing you gave your power to. People say, “Robert, how can I become brave and strong and have world-class willpower?” Well, you do difficult things and they don’t have to be big things. They could belittle micro acts of difficulty. Could be, you get up and you go for a walk at 5:00 AM, or you rise at 5:00 AM. Or you don’t feel like having a glass of water, you drink a glass of water. It’s late at night usually you surf social media. You read a book. Usually, you don’t even get through a page. You get through a page. Usually, maybe you feel like criticizing at work. You hold your tongue and you say, “I’m not going to do that.” The more you exercise that bravery through micro bravery every day, the more you take your power back from everything you didn’t feel like doing.
