Deliver mastery versus ordinary. So if you were to look at Shakespeare, did Shakespeare deliver ordinary or mastery? If you were to watch a Djokovic or a Federer, are they operating at mastery or ordinary? If you were to look at a Ford, let’s say an Amelia Earhart, let’s say a Coco Chanel. Let’s say a Karl Lagerfeld. Let’s say a Ferran Adrià, the great Spanish chef, let’s say a Messi, or a Pelé or a Muhammad Ali. Here’s my point. Anyone who is influencing the world and at the top of their game, they are releasing any form of ordinariness within their life and they are delivering mastery. It is such a massive advantage because there are not a lot of da Vincis out there anymore. There are not a lot of people who say, “This is my craft and I stand for the best.” Whether you’re a baker, a bookkeeper, a billionaire, an entertainer, a startup entrepreneur. I want you to say, “My game now, my sport is domain dominance.” I want you to be so good at what you do because of your studying, because of your
practice, because of you reading. I want you to know so much about what you do and I want you to be so great at what you do because you practice so much and you optimize it and good enough isn’t very good enough, that you become the undisputed master of your craft. It’s a great opportunity because so few people deliver mastery. And related to that, it’s not
just about being masterful in your professional life. My loving challenge to you, is raise your mindset to mastery, raise your heartset to mastery, raise your healthset to mastery, raise your soulset to mastery, raise your friendships to mastery, deliver mastery with your family and ultimately deliver mastery for the benefit of humanity, because you know what, what’s the point of success without service?
