How to Enter the Economy of Mastery

Be a creator, not a consumer. Be a creator, not a consumer. And with respect to being a creator, don’t just be an average creator. Be, or commit yourself, to being the best in the world at what you do. How do you get there? Through studying, through courses, through training online, offline, through books, and through having a mentor. But the more you can work on your skills, the more you will leave the crowd and be so good at what you do that no one else in the world can do what you do. Once you start being a consistent, magic producer or a consistent master work creator, then you will enter what I call the economy of mastery. You will have almost no competition in a world where few people can create masterwork. And that means you won’t have competition number one, but it also means you will be paid far in excess of anyone else in your field because scarcity is always more expensive. People pay a lot of money for diamonds because there aren’t very many diamonds. People pay a lot for elite athletes because there just aren’t many elite athletes available to play on the team. People pay a lot for an incredible actor to star in a movie in Hollywood because there just aren’t that many virtuosos.
