Energy is more valuable to exponential achievement. It’s even more valuable than your IQ. Energy is even more valuable for exponential achievement and epic performance than your IQ, even more than your intelligence. It’s not the most intelligent person who wins in business, in productivity, in influence, in prosperity, and impact. It’s the one who has the most energy. You can have blazing ambition. You can have incredible market opportunities. You can have ideas that will disrupt and dominate your domain. You can have awesome talent. But if you don’t have the energy when you wake up and during the day and in the evening to execute around your enthusiastic ambitions, then nothing gets done. This world is full of genius-
grade performers who are completely unknown and never got anything done. And this
world is full, and I’ve worked with some of them, with people who are not the smartest human being in the room, but they discovered an idea that would help millions, tens of millions, billions of people, and they were like a pitbull around the idea. They would run through walls, and they found the right team, and they would see problems as projects and adversity as opportunity. And they always protected their positivity. And they literally were so energized every day because of the bigness of their idea as well as the way they manage themselves, that they became iconic. So, I’m going to invite you to worry less about time management and start thinking more about energy mastery. Spend less time on time management and think more about mastering your energy and your stamina in a world of such distraction, toxic influences, negativity, sometimes organized chaos. Deep change, armor plating, world-class energy is the needle mover.
