The Universal Code for Sustained Success

It’s not how you start the day. It’s how you end the day in many ways. It’s not how you start the project. It’s how you finish the project. It’s not how you start the sale. It’s do you wow on the sale. It’s not how you begin the meeting. It’s how you end the meeting. It’s not how you start your life. It’s how you end your life. And this is really how A-Players think.

You see, anyone can be inspired when you first get a great idea. What makes the Picasso? What makes the Elon Musk? What makes the Buffett? What makes the Richard Branson? What makes the Fred Smith? What makes the Steve jobs? What makes the Mandela, is they have a committed ability to sustain the vision and the idea long after the inspiration and energy has passed. And I call it the desert of creative doldrums.

You’re going to get a great idea probably later today. If I started this project, I would wow my
team. Well, an idea is great. Do you have the commitment, devotion, grit to stay with the idea for last-mile excellence so that when the project delivers, the product is truly world-class?
