If we are suffering from lack, if we think the world is about win-lose, a zero-sum gain, in other words, if he gets… If he wins, I lose, then we’re going to be going to work every day and living our private lives in such a way that we are really run by the fear of scarcity.
What I’ve realized, I mean, to borrow from Albert Einstein, he said, “The fundamental question is, is the universe a friendly place?” What I’ve realized is, 20, 24 years in the field of personal mastery and leadership and helping many of the most successful people including NBA stars, famed billionaires Fortune 100 CEOs, working with companies like Starbucks, Nike, General Electric, Oracle, Microsoft, the best teams in the world.
What I’ve realized is simply this, the universe is a friendly place and the marketplace rewards your production and delivery of magic. The marketplace rewards your mastery and the marketplace rewards originality.
So if you are a copyist and just a card-carrying member of doing what other people are doing really well, versus running your own race and staying in your own lane, then you’re never going to get the prosperity that will get you out of scarcity.
