Until you have discovered something you are willing to die for, then you’re not fit to live. And I know that’s a bold statement from MLK, and I know it’s dramatic, but I think it’s true. You want to find your mighty mission. You want to discover your personal Mount Everest. You want to get great intimacy and clarity with that one thing that you want the rest of your life to stand for.I don’t know what that will be for you. It could be daily discipline, it could be artistry and mastery. It could be building a great family. It could be living simply with excellence and awesome values. But I think it’s really important to know what your mountaintop looks like, because clarity really does precede mastery. And if you don’t know where you’re going, then any road will certainly get you there.
