Fears unfaced become your limitations. And often we spend our entire life building an architecture where we avoid doing the things that frighten us, and yet the day we say, “I’m going to exercise my fear and run into my doubts and limitations,” we realize that it was like one inch deep. It was like an illusion. It was a false demon or a fake dragon of sorts. And all I’m suggesting to you is the purpose of life is not really materialism or fame. It’s not really about fortune. The purpose of life is really about growth. And becoming as fearless as possible while you’re alive is really one of the key aims of a life well lived. And so what I suggest to you is simply this idea; the place where your greatest fears live is the place where your greatest growth lies. And today, I encourage you to pick one thing that frightens you, whether it’s a major fear or a micro-fear, and do the thing that frightens you so you take some of the power that you gave to your fear back. And the more consistently you run towards your fears, the more consistently you take the power you gave to those fears back, and you start to remember who you truly are. And you realize you’re so much braver, wiser, stronger than you think.
