Practice The Three Ss to Reclaim Your Inner Peace

Routinize your three S’s. What are your three S’s. Silence, solitude and stillness. I’ll repeat them again because they’re game-changers, silence, solitude, and stillness.

Silence: turn off your distractions, rise before the sun like the great saints, and the sages, creatives, warriors, titans of industry, silence. Silence is nature’s sweet restorer. Silence is
when you get to think profound thoughts. Silence is where you get to contemplate how you want to be remembered when you’re no longer here.

Stillness: best time to do that 5:00 AM. Solitude: Blaise Pascal said, “Most of man’s miseries are derived from his inability to sit quietly in a room by himself.” Solitude. So few of us in this age of dramatic distraction, make the time to be alone. Why? We’re afraid of who we truly are and all that we just might become. When you’re alone, you get to deal with maybe it’s the pain of potential unexpressed. So what do we do as human beings? We escape our feelings, not only our lower ones, but our higher ones. If you’re busy being busy, you don’t get to feel your joy. You don’t get to feel delight. You don’t get to stand and wonder. A lot of people are scared of standing in their highest selves. So I’m suggesting to you that you routinize being still, silent and alone, you’re going to enter the magic.
